Covid-19 Appointment Guidlines: The 'New Normal'

With the hopeful re-opening of salons in Wales on 13th July, here are the new guidelines that will be in place when visiting me at Seventh Heaven Colwyn Bay.

Before your appointment:

  • Do not visit the salon or come for any appointments if you or anyone you have been in close contact with are feeling unwell or have ANY symptoms of Covid-19/Coronavirus. Even if you believe it to be a common cold, we would rather keep yourself, other clients and staff safe

  • If you have travelled recently, please allow 14 days from the date you arrived home before booking/rescheduling

  • If you need to reschedule, please get in touch as soon as possible and we will gladly do this

  • Please try to limit the amount of belongings you bring into the salon

  • Bank transfer/PayPal payments are preferred at this time, however cash will still be accepted if needed

At your appointment:

  • To reduce the amount of people in the salon, we kindly ask that you arrive to your appointment alone (unfortunately this means you cannot bring friends, family or children with you)

  • Please arrive on time. If you are early we ask that you wait in the car or away from the salon. I will call/message you beforehand if I am running ahead of time and am able to take you in earlier

  • Similarly, if arriving late you may be asked to reschedule or charged a late fee

  • Sanitiser will be available readily throughout the salon before and after your appointment and the salon bathroom/sinks will also be available to use

Masks and gloves:

  • Please remove and dispose of/store gloves before entering the salon. We can assure you that we are enforcing strict and regular cleaning and disinfecting of all common areas, treatment areas, tools and bedding before and after each client seen or treatment performed

  • Masks are required wherever possible, however we understand that due to the nature of some treatments this cannot always happen e.g facials, lip waxing etc. We strongly suggest that you wear a mask when entering and leaving the salon and only remove it when necessary for treatment

  • PLEASE NOTE: A small quantity of masks will be available for purchase (£1) at the salon if you are unable bring your own

  • Please also be aware that any threading services I provide will require me to remove my mask due to the technique used and I will be trying to avoid this wherever possible. If you are uncomfortable with this, please let me know and we can switch to waxing or skip the treatment if needed

As always, your health and safety is of top priority when visiting me for a treatment, so please feel assured that I am enforcing everything I can to make your visit as enjoyable and safe as possible.

This new normal will definitely take some getting used to, but you will still get the same great service, a happy smiling therapist greeting you (that's me!) and leave feeling amazing after your long awaited pamper!

I'm still keeping all of my fingers and toes crossed that we will get the 100% go-ahead for 13th July but I will be sure to update you should there be any issues. Until then, keep in touch with me via Instagram and Facebook.
